OVERVIEW

Two of the primary skillsets we are looking for are accounting & audit experience within the non-profit sector. We are also looking for someone who is smart, intuitive, and committed to the betterment of community. FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING DUTIES:

  • Oversee all journal entries, accounts, ledgers, recons, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain internal controls for receipt of revenue, costs, and program budgets and actual expenditures.
  • Facilitate and manage accounts paybale and accounts receivable
  • Coordinate annual audit activity.
  • Present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Develop annual budget with inclusion from senior leadership; present budget for discussion and approval.
  • Oversee financial reporting materials for government, corporate, and foundation grants.
  • Works in a standalone type postion with support of Controlelr and other departments.
  • Manage and track the performance of invested assets.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of a Certificte, Associates, Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or any related field
  • Minimum 3-5+ years general accounting expereince
  • QuickBooks Software Expereince
  • Microsoft Excel Experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience in effectively communicating key data, including presentations to senior management, board or other outside partners.
  • Grant accounting experience a plus
